Projects which incorporate laser engraving etching and coverings are wide-ranging in terms of complexity of layout and design. As such, we will quote these on a case-by-case basis.
How to get your gun(s) lasered.
Ordering:
Simply fill out our form and submit it to us. Be sure to print out the copy that is emailed to you after you submit to include with your shipment! Once we have reviewed it, we will send you a confirmation email with our shipping address, any questions, and also a final price.
Shipping to us:
Completely disassemble your gun and make sure it is clean and free of any dirt/paint/grease/etc. Be sure to include the printed form, along with any additional notes, color samples, etc.
We offer two levels of shipping: Basic, $13.00 - Standard USPS Uninsured; and Deluxe, $27.00 - USPS with Insurance and Tracking #.
Payment:
You can choose to pay at any time during the process, prior to the gun being shipped back to you. If you choose to pay when you ship, be aware that additional charges may be added to account for inventory problems, unanticipated disassembly/prep work, etc.
The Work:
Depending on the complexity of the design, we then photograph the gun and begin the design work (Photoshop drafts, et cetera). Once a design is settled upon, the gun then heads to the laser cutter.
The Finished Job:
Once work is completed, we will contact you with pictures, request payment if necessary, and ship your laser engraved baby back to you! Approximate turnaround time varies due to the complexity of the project. Typically, this is between 15 and 25 days.
Disclaimer:
What we do is an art and it is done by hand and is thus not perfect in all cases. The guns and designs we do are complex and one of one and thusly occasionally have small, unforeseeable inconsistencies. We give every gun we do our all and if it comes back to you with a small imperfection, it is because we could not imagine being able to redo it and get a better result. If we had three of every gun to practice on, the third would always be perfect, but one of one means just that. These are unique pieces of art, and the processes we employ only give us one shot to get it right without completely restarting the project. Likewise design changes sometimes need to be made on the fly and when you send your gun to us, you are trusting in our artistic opinion and accept that changes from the original photoshops will occasionally, albeit rarely, need to be made without the option of contacting the customer beforehand.
